Is Your Health Getting in the way of Your Success?

Our lifestyle has certainly created a lot of the problems that society is experiencing. The surge in heart disease, diabetes, and caner is clear evidence of all of that.

You do need to take care of yourself and feel physically well, in order to move toward your desired success, and to be able to enjoy your life.

The body certainly needs to be taken care of, and it doesn’t have to take several hours a day. People can take care of their health and increase their level of wellness with some simple steps that take minutes a day.

You simply need to be deliberate about it, and to be focused on what will increase your health.

It can most certainly feel overwhelming because there’s a lot of information out there. However, we intuitively know what is good for us. It’s the follow through that becomes more difficult. It is letting go of the resistance that is harder to do.

By taking a small step and changing one thing at a time, the small steps are going to accumulate and will give you great results. You don’t have to do it all at once. One of the best pieces of advice that I have heard comes from Dr. Ellie Drake. She says “be consistent with your action and do not be attached to the outcome.” When you focus on the results instead of the action it can seem harder to feel like you are accomplishing anything.

To think optimally and to have the ability to maximize your creativity, you need to feel good. Otherwise if you’re feeling tired, feeling sluggish, and if you’re feeding your body junk food, you will simply slow down your progression towards that desire success.

Stress is a major factor in bringing dis-ease to the body. Stressful thoughts affect you at a cellular level. When you feel emotionally stressed out, you must turn to your thoughts and be aware of what it is you are thinking about. If you are feeling negative emotion, your are having negative thoughts. By using your emotions as a guidance system, you can stop and change your thoughts to a more positive state thus changing the emotion and allowing for better health.

Another important factor to consider is breathing. People for the most part, don’t pay any attention to their breathing. When you allow deep breathing into the body, you can actually calm your self and come from a more grounded place. It is helpful the stop and take some deep breaths several times a day, and particularly when you encounter moments of stress.

Exercise is vital, but you can find ways to exercise that are fun if you do not enjoy regular, routine types of exercise. Find something that you do enjoy like walking or dancing but just get moving.

When you are moving and bring oxygen to the brain, fresh ideas can flow through your mind. It can be a great time to mastermind with yourself.

Healthy supplements are important to take, but make sure that they are all natural. Many supplements contain synthetics that do not even absorb into the body.

The steps you take today toward good health will give you a better tomorrow. Health and success go together.
